NIZ and Varmilo make their own electrostatic capacitive switches. NIZ builds its EC switches like Topre, with a rubber dome, slider and spring over a capacitive board, in 35g and 45g. Varmilo's EC switches come as linear Sakura, Rose, Daisy and Jasmine, tactile Iris and Violet, and clicky Ivy. Varmilo's EC V3 from October 2024 hot-swaps between EC switches, but you can't fit MX switches in their place. On a used board, ask which switch and weight it has and test every key.
