The MIYA Pro came out of a team-up between Ducky and Varmilo, which is why you'll see it listed under either brand. It's a 68-key 65% board with a proper arrow cluster, Varmilo's dye-sub PBT caps and a pick of Cherry MX switches, and it came in themes like Sakura and Sea Melody. RTINGS rated the build solid and the typing excellent. It also flagged two quirks. The backlight is white only, and the space bar's stabilizer feels different from the rest of the keys. Every key can hold a macro, recorded on the keyboard, and the setup software runs on Windows. Most were wired, and a limited Flare Star edition added Bluetooth. It's a good fit if you want Varmilo-style art in a small board with arrows. Since the switches are soldered, buy the one you want to type on.

Which Ducky x Varmilo MIYA Pro is it?
The MIYA Pro was sold under both names, so listings may say Ducky or Varmilo. The standard board is wired with white backlighting. A Flare Star special edition added Bluetooth to three devices, charging over a USB-C cable, and offered Kailh BOX and Kailh Speed switches alongside Cherry MX. Some themed editions, like Sakura and Sea Melody, were listed with Varmilo EC switches as well as Cherry MX, which only one spec aggregator records. Varmilo's own 68-key 65% is the VA68M, sold under the Varmilo name.
What to check
RTINGS found the space bar stabilizer felt different from the other keys, so listen for rattle there. Switches are soldered, so a chattering key means a repair.
01Space bar: Ask for a short video pressing the space bar in the middle and at both ends. It should feel even and not rattle or bind.
02Switch: Ask the seller to pull a keycap and photograph the switch. Cherry MX stems are colored crosses, while EC switches look different and can't be swapped for MX.
03Theme keycaps: Compare the caps in the photos with the theme named in the title. The space bar and modifiers should match the case color.
04Bluetooth: If it's the Flare Star edition, ask the seller to pair it with a phone off the cable. It should connect and stay connected while typing.
05Chatter: Ask for a typing test video at keyboardtester.com or similar. Every key should register once per press.
06Backlight: Ask for a photo with the backlight on full. Every key should glow white evenly with none dark.

Buying guide
Which one to buy
§ Oct 14, 2026
We'd buy the Koi at $55 delivered from a 100% seller, shown with its box and cable, or the Flare Star at $48 if you want Bluetooth and don't mind Varmilo's EC Daisy switches. There are at least 35 MIYAs for sale and most complete ones ask $70–160 delivered, while Flare Stars run from $48 to $274. The switches are soldered, so ask the seller to pull a cap when the title doesn't name the switch, and ask for a video of the space bar pressed in the middle and at both ends, since RTINGS found its stabilizer felt different from the other keys. Several Flare Star and Sakura listings come from zero-feedback sellers, including one Flare Star title copied across three accounts, so stick to established sellers. Sakura in a title can mean Varmilo's EC switch rather than the pink theme, as on the $286 blue Summit board from Japan.

The cheapest MIYA here, a Flare Star at $48 delivered from a 100% seller, and the photo shows spare caps in their trays. Daisy is a Varmilo EC switch, so it can't take MX switches, and since the Flare Star has Bluetooth, ask to see it pair off the cable.
Varmilo x MK x Ducky Miya Pro Flare Star 65% Mechanical Keyboard (Daisy Linear)
A Koi edition titled MIYA68-PRO wired, at $55 delivered from a 100% seller, and the photo shows its box and red cable. The title names no switch, so ask which Cherry MX it has, since it's soldered.
Ducky MIYA Pro Koi 65% MIYA68-PRO Wired Keyboard Red/White
The card lists it as open box, a Sakura Round 2 titled Silent Red at $96 delivered from a 100% seller. It should have seen little use, so it's the one for paying a bit more and asking fewer questions.
