Taiwan · 8 keyboards
Ducky started in Taipei in 1998 and put its own name on keyboards in 2008. A year later came the first Year of the Zodiac board, the Year of the Ox, and Ducky still makes limited zodiac editions. The Shine line made Ducky's name for backlighting and ran to a seventh generation with a zinc alloy top case. The One series is the everyday range. The One 2 put Cherry MX switches under thick doubleshot PBT caps in full-size, TKL, 65% SF and 60% Mini cases, and the One 3 added Kailh hot-swap sockets and layers of foam. Ducky's manuals list Taiwan as the place of production. Every board on this site is set up on the keyboard itself, with Ducky Macro and a row of DIP switches underneath, so you don't need an app to remap keys.
