Most people who want a Ducky without a number pad end up here. The One 3 TKL keeps everything that made the One 3 a step up from the One 2. There are yellow Kailh hot-swap sockets, so you can change switches without soldering. There's foam and silicone inside the case to take the hollow ring out of each keystroke, and Ducky's own lubed stabilizers on the long keys. The standard caps are thick doubleshot PBT, so the legends can't wear off. It's a wired board, and every setting lives on the keyboard. Macros are recorded with key combinations, and four DIP switches underneath handle the Windows key lock, NKRO and the right Windows key. Ducky made it in a long list of colorways, from the plain Classic to the green Matcha and the see-through Aura. Since the insides are the same across them, pick the colorway you like and check the switches.

Which Ducky One 3 TKL is it?
This is the 80% One 3, model DKON2187ST with RGB or DKON2187 without. It shares its manual, PCB features and dampening with the full-size One 3, minus the number pad. Keycap profile varies by colorway. The Classic uses Cherry profile doubleshot PBT, the Matcha uses OEM profile doubleshot PBT, and the Aura uses doubleshot ABS pudding caps over a clear case. Retailers listed Cherry MX Red, Brown, Blue, Black, Silent Red, Speed Silver and Clear, and Ducky's site lists Gateron Baby Kangaroo and Kailh Box Jellyfish Y for the Aura.
What to check
Hot-swap boards often change hands with different switches from the ones on the box, sometimes a mixed set. Pulling switches without supporting the socket can damage it, which Ducky's manual warns about.
01Switch match: Ask the seller to pull one keycap from each row and photograph the switches. They should all be the same color stem as the switch named in the listing.
02Sockets: On arrival, pull a switch from a key you use often, like W or Space, and look at the socket. It should be flat and intact, and the switch should click back in with both pins straight.
03Stabilizers: Ask for a video of the space bar, Enter, Backspace and Shift keys pressed at the edges. They should go down level without rattling.
04Dead keys: Ask for a typing test video that covers every key. Each key should light up once per press with no double letters.
05Keycaps: Look closely at WASD and the space bar in the photos. Doubleshot PBT should be matte with crisp legends, so a shiny patch means heavy use or a swapped set.
06Cable: Check that the braided USB-C cable is in the photos. Any good USB-C cable works, so a missing one isn't a big deal.

Buying guide
Which one to buy
§ Oct 14, 2026
We'd buy the Matcha with Cherry MX Red at $72 delivered, a used US board for about a third of what new ones ask. There are at least 25 listed, and the $140–220 delivered band is mostly new retail stock, with 17 new cards at a $213 median delivered against a $91 median for the nine used ones. Hot-swap boards often change hands with different switches, so ask the seller to pull a cap from each row and photograph the switches, and ask for a video of the space bar, Enter, Backspace and both Shifts to check for rattle. A missing cable is no reason to pass, since any good USB-C cable works. Skip listings whose photos are lifted from Amazon with the badges still on until the seller shows you the actual board.
