A 65% board is a 60% with one more column on the right, usually arrow keys plus a few navigation keys like Delete and Page Up. It typically has 65 to 68 keys. You get dedicated arrows in a board barely wider than a 60%, which is why it's a popular step down from a TKL. The function row lives on an Fn layer. On a used one, check the arrow keys and the space bar, which take the most wear.
