The FC660C gave Topre fans a compact board with real arrow keys. It has 66 keys, with dedicated arrows plus Insert and Delete on the right, in a case only a little wider than a 60%. Leopold developed it with Topre, the Japanese company behind the switch and the Realforce boards. The switches are 45g Topre electro-capacitive domes, the same weight on every key and plate-mounted like a Realforce, so you get Topre's rounded bump and a soft thock at the bottom. The keycaps are thick PBT, laser-etched or dye-sublimated depending on the version, and the space bar is ABS. Fn with the arrows gives Home, End, Page Up and Page Down, and four DIP switches swap Caps Lock and Control or Windows and Alt. A capacitance equation printed on the front right of the case is a nice tell. Its twin, the FC660M, looks almost the same with Cherry MX switches.

Versions
The FC660M has the same case and 66-key layout with Cherry MX switches, and the only obvious difference in a photo is the letter on the label. Leopold's Bluetooth FC660MBT is also a Cherry MX board, and Leopold's Bluetooth line doesn't include a Topre FC660C. Deskthority lists a US/Korean version with lasered legends and English versions in white and black with dye-sublimated legends.
Leopold's manual lists Windows only and says Mac OS isn't supported. The ABS space bar is the one cap likely to go shiny while the PBT caps around it stay matte.
New to used keyboards? How to check a used keyboard covers chatter, stabilizers, keycap shine and the rest in detail.
