The Atom68 is NIZ's small board, 68 keys with arrows in a case about 32cm wide. Its electro-capacitive switches work like Topre's, with a slider on a rubber dome over a spring, so typing feels soft and rounded. The difference you'll notice first is the stems. They're MX-style crosses, so ordinary Cherry-compatible keycaps fit. NIZ ships it with 35g or 45g domes plus a bag of 10g and 20g springs to make chosen keys heavier, and you can switch its actuation point between 2mm and 3mm. It plugs in by USB-C, and the Bluetooth versions also come with a USB receiver of their own. Keymaps and macros are set with NIZ's software. Some dealers call it a 60%, but with dedicated arrows it's laid out like a 65%.

Which NIZ Atom68 is it?
The Atom68 came in USB-only and Bluetooth versions, with or without RGB, in 35g or 45g, and some dealers also listed 50g. The newer Atom68 Pro adds Bluetooth 5.2 and what NIZ calls an RT function. Don't confuse it with the Atom66, a smaller 66-key board.
What to check
The Keyboard Company couldn't pair one with an older Bluetooth adapter, though a tablet connected fine, which is where NIZ's own receiver helps. Used boards may have extra springs fitted under some keys, so the weight can be uneven.
01Version: Ask the seller whether it's the USB-only or Bluetooth version, and its weight. The box or bottom label should say, for example EC-Bluetooth 35g.
02Receiver: On a Bluetooth version, ask whether the NIZ USB receiver is included. Without it you're relying on your computer's own Bluetooth.
03Even weight: On arrival, press keys across the board one after another. They should all feel the same unless you know springs were added.
04Chatter: Ask for a typing test at keyboardtester.com or similar. Every key should register once per press.
05Stabilizers: Ask for a video tapping the space bar, Enter and Shift. They should go down evenly without a loud rattle.

Buying guide
Which one to buy
§ Oct 14, 2026
Only three Atom68s are for sale, all from Japan dealers, so their $240–435 delivered asks aren't a market read. We'd start with the $240 board shown with its box, the lowest ask, and ask whether it's the Bluetooth version, its weight (35g or 45g) and whether NIZ's USB receiver is included, since the title says only wireless. For a US layout, the Bluetooth board titled US and tested at $435 delivered shows its cable, a keycap puller and bags of spares in the photo, while the $297 one is titled JP, which usually means a Japanese JIS layout with a short space bar. These are NIZ's electro-capacitive switches, close to Topre in feel but not Topre, and they take MX-style keycaps, so ask for a keyboardtester.com video with every key and a clip of the space bar and Enter for rattle.
