Keychron listed the Q2 at the end of 2021, a few months after the Q1, and it puts the same build into a 67-key 65% layout. You give up the function row and keep the arrow keys, with Delete and Home in a short column on the right. The case is CNC-machined aluminum with a gasket-mounted steel plate, silicone pads between the top and bottom halves, south-facing RGB and hot-swap sockets for 3- and 5-pin MX switches. Fully assembled boards came with pre-lubed Gateron G Pro red, blue or brown switches and OSA-profile doubleshot PBT caps, with Mac and Windows keycaps in the box. At about 1.6 kg it's heavy for such a small board. Keychron gave the Q2 sharper top-case corners than the first Q1 had, so taller third-party keycap sets fit without rubbing.

Versions
Sold with or without a knob in the top-right corner, either fully assembled with Gateron G Pro switches or as a barebone with no switches or caps. The ISO models came with shine-through ABS caps instead of the ANSI board's PBT. The Q2 Pro is the Bluetooth version with a polycarbonate plate and Keychron K Pro switches, and the Q2 Max and Q2 HE are later boards in the same size.
Plenty of used Q2s have had switches or caps changed, which takes minutes on a hot-swap board. Otherwise it's the usual list for a used board, so check the stabilizers and the USB-C port, which sits on a small daughterboard joined to the main PCB by a ribbon cable.

We'd buy the blue Q2 titled tested with its cable, keycaps and Kailh Lilac switches at $119 delivered from a 100% seller. There are at least 40 for sale and most ask $95–190 delivered. Four liquidation sellers list open-box boards at $65–70 under the same all-caps retail title and Keychron's product photo, US used boards ask $82–184, and Japan dealers want $303–431 with $35–120 shipping. Lots of used Q2s are modded, which is easy on a hot-swap board, so ask for a photo of one switch with the cap pulled, a keyboardtester.com video with every key and a clip of the space bar and Enter for rattle, and check the top-right corner of the photos for the knob. Skip the $469 custom from a zero-feedback seller, which asks about four times the median.
