The X99 squeezes a number pad into a case about 38cm wide, the compact 96% layout that keeps nearly every key of a full-size board in far less desk space. It has 99 keys and weighs about 1.25kg. NIZ lists it as a gaming version, and like the rest of the range it uses NIZ's electro-capacitive switches, a slider on a rubber dome over a spring, close in feel to Topre, with MX-style stems that take Cherry-compatible keycaps. You get 35g or 45g domes plus 10g and 20g springs to stiffen chosen keys. It plugs in by USB-C, white versions came in Bluetooth as well as USB, and NIZ's software handles keymaps and macros. It's the NIZ to pick if you want a number pad on a small desk.
Versions
The X99 came in white or black, in 35g or 45g. White boards were sold as USB-only or Bluetooth, and NIZ's store listed the black ones as USB-only. NIZ sells it as a gaming version. The full-size X108 and the tenkeyless X87 are its siblings.
A compact 96% packs the arrows and number pad tight, so check the layout suits you before buying. The many stabilized keys can rattle, and extra springs added by a past owner can make the weighting uneven.

Buying guide
Every X99 for sale comes from a Japan dealer, and the seven ask $278–387 delivered, with $35–120 shipping making most of the difference between them. We'd start with the 35g board at $278 delivered, the lowest ask, but its title is bare, so ask for the layout, whether it's USB-only or Bluetooth, and a photo of the bottom label. No US seller has one listed, and the two boards titled US layout ask $376–387 delivered, the white, gray and pink one with its cable, a keycap puller, spare caps and springs in the photo. Check the Enter key in the photos on the rest, since an ANSI Enter is a wide bar, and the board titled JP is likely Japanese JIS with a short space bar. NIZ's electro-capacitive switches feel close to Topre but take MX-style keycaps, so ask for a keyboardtester.com video that includes the number pad and a clip of the space bar, Enter and the number pad's long keys for rattle.
