The Q6 is the full-size Q, with a function row, the navigation block, arrows and a full number pad all where they belong. Keychron listed it in May 2022, about the same time as the Q5. It's a big slab of CNC-machined aluminum, about 446 mm long and 2.4 kg built, with a gasket-mounted steel plate, silicone pads between the case halves, south-facing RGB and hot-swap sockets for 3- and 5-pin MX switches. Every Q6 has four extra keys above the number pad, which QMK maps as F13 to F16 by default, and on the knob version the encoder sits right of F12. Stock boards came with pre-lubed Gateron G Pro switches and OSA-profile doubleshot PBT caps. If you live in spreadsheets and don't want the squeezed 96% layout, this is the Q to look for.

Which Keychron Q6 is it?
Sold with or without a knob, fully assembled with Gateron G Pro switches or as a barebone, and there was a purple special edition. ISO models came with shine-through ABS caps. The Q6 Pro adds Bluetooth, and the Q6 Max, Q6 HE and Q6 Ultra are later boards.
What to check
A full-size aluminum board is heavy to ship, so check the photos and the packing for drop damage. It also has more stabilized keys than smaller Qs, and each one can rattle if it was never tuned.
01Shipping damage: Ask the seller how they'll pack it and for photos of all four corners. At 2.4 kg a drop dents the corners, so they should be clean.
02Stabilizers: Ask for a video tapping the space bar, Enter, Backspace, both Shifts, number-pad Enter, plus and zero. Each should land without rattle.
03Switches: Ask which switches are installed and for a photo with a cap off. Gateron G Pro is stock, so anything else was swapped in.
04Chatter: Ask for a keyboardtester.com video that covers the number pad and the four keys above it. Each key should register once.
05Knob: On the knob version, ask for a clip turning it both ways and pressing it. The volume should step each way and the press should mute.

Buying guide
Which one to buy
§ Oct 14, 2026
We'd buy the knob Q6 with blue switches at $268 delivered, the cheapest of the three here because its $60 shipping is half what the other two carry. All three are US-layout boards from risingsungaming in Japan (98.1%), so the $360–480 band is one dealer's asks and isn't a market read. The Q6 is a heavy aluminum board, about 2.4 kg, so ask for photos of the corners and how it will be packed. It has more stabilized keys than the smaller Qs, so ask for a keyboardtester.com video plus a clip of the space bar, Enter and number-pad keys to catch rattle. Every Q6 is hot-swap, so the extra on the $487 board buys only the Kailh Midnight Pro linear switches fitted to it, which you could add to any of them.
