The Q5 fits a number pad onto a board not much wider than a tenkeyless by closing up the gaps between the key clusters, the layout people call 96% or 1800. Keychron listed it in May 2022. Delete, Home and End move up into the function row, and the arrows sit tucked between the right Shift and the number pad, so give yourself a few days if you're coming from a full-size. Construction matches the rest of the line, with a CNC-machined aluminum case, a gasket-mounted steel plate, silicone pads between the case halves, south-facing RGB and hot-swap sockets for 3- and 5-pin MX switches. A built one weighs about 2.3 kg. Stock boards have pre-lubed Gateron G Pro switches and OSA-profile doubleshot PBT caps, and the knob version adds an encoder in the top-right corner.

Sold with or without a knob in the top-right corner, fully assembled with Gateron G Pro switches or as a barebone. ISO models came with shine-through ABS caps. The Q5 Pro is the Bluetooth version with a polycarbonate plate and K Pro switches, and the Q5 Max, Q5 HE and Q5 Ultra are later boards.
The 96% layout uses a few odd-sized keys around the arrows and number pad, so a board with missing or swapped caps can be hard to complete. Otherwise check the stabilizers, which this board has more of than a tenkeyless, and the USB-C port on its daughterboard.

We'd buy the open-box Q5N3 with the knob at $152 delivered from a 100% US seller, and its photo shows the cable and spare keycaps with it. There are at least 6 for sale, so the $190–350 band is thin. Two risingsungaming boards from Japan at $374–431 with $120 shipping pull it up, and the used US boards ask $230–261, both fitted with aftermarket caps or switches as titled. The 96% layout uses odd-sized caps around the arrows and number pad, so on a modded board ask whether the stock caps come too, and ask for a clip of the space bar, Enter and number-pad keys to catch stabilizer rattle. Skip the $180 navy board from a 97.4% seller unless its feedback checks out, and the Japanese-layout board at $431.
