The K10 is the full-size board in Keychron's original K-series, on sale from 2021. It's a 104-key layout with the numpad, set at a 9-degree typing angle, with Bluetooth 5.1 to three devices, a USB-C wired mode and the same 4000 mAh battery as the K2 and K8. A switch flips it between Mac and Windows, and both sets of keycaps come in the box. Keychron notes that Num Lock only works on Windows. Early boards came with soldered Gateron G Pro switches or as a hot-swap board for most 3- and 5-pin MX switches, and later ones used Keychron Super switches. Stock keycaps are double-shot ABS, and you'll see plastic cases and aluminum-frame ones. There's no QMK or VIA on the original. Version 2 arrived in late 2024 with QMK, Bluetooth 5.2 and PBT keycaps, and the K10 Pro, Max and HE are separate boards.

Which Keychron K10 is it?
The original K10 came with soldered Gateron G Pro switches or as a hot-swap board that takes most 3- and 5-pin MX switches, later with Keychron Super switches, in white-backlit, RGB and aluminum-frame versions. Version 2 (late 2024) adds QMK, Bluetooth 5.2 and double-shot PBT keycaps. The K10 Pro, K10 Max, K10 HE and K10 Ultra 8K are different boards.
What to check
The ABS keycaps go shiny with use. Keychron's support has seen K10s drop Bluetooth, hop to another paired device or repeat keystrokes, and its fix is a Bluetooth firmware update.
01Hot-swap or soldered: Ask for a photo of one switch lifted out with a switch puller. A hot-swap K10 lets it out easily, and a soldered one won't.
02Bluetooth: Ask the seller to pair it with a phone and a computer and type on each. It should stay connected without jumping devices or repeating letters.
03Numpad: Ask for a typing test video at keyboardtester.com or similar, numpad included. Every key should register once per press.
04Stabilizers: Ask for a video pressing the space bar, Enter, numpad Enter, numpad plus and zero. They should sound even, with no rattle.
05Battery: Ask how many days a charge lasts with the backlight off. Keychron rates a new K10 at up to 240 hours, so a day or two means a tired battery.
06Version: Ask whether it's the original K10 or Version 2. Only Version 2 supports QMK remapping.

Buying guide
Which one to buy
§ Oct 14, 2026
We'd buy the K10 titled fully tested with its box at $70 with free shipping from a 100% seller, a clicky board just under the $75 bottom of the band. There are at least 28 listed, but most are new retail stock asking about $121 delivered, which is what sets the $75–190 band, while used boards from US sellers ask $45–79. The original K10 came soldered or hot-swap, so believe hot-swap only when the title says it, and ask for a keyboardtester.com video with the numpad, how many days a charge lasts with the backlight off (Keychron rates it at up to 240 hours), and a quick check that Bluetooth doesn't jump between devices or repeat letters. Skip the two identical "Super Brown Switch" listings at $120.64 from different sellers, and the Japan dealer's JP-layout board at $298 delivered, which likely has a short space bar and Japanese legends.
