The Convertible 2 is Filco's two-way Majestouch. It works wired over USB or wireless over Bluetooth 3.0, and it can remember four devices and switch between them with the 1 to 4 keys. It runs on two AA batteries, which Diatec rated at about six months at five hours a day, and it drops into power saving after 30 minutes idle on Bluetooth. Diatec made it in full size, with 104 keys on the US board, and tenkeyless, with 87 keys at 980 g, and the tenkeyless puts the Fn and App keys to the left of the arrows. Four DIP switches can lock the Windows and App keys or swap Caps Lock with Control and Esc with the backtick key. Switches are Cherry MX Brown, Blue, Black or Red, and the caps are pad-printed ABS. The Caps Lock and Scroll Lock lights stay off on Bluetooth, which is normal.

Diatec made the Convertible 2 in tenkeyless (FKBC87) and full size (FKBC104), and both show up under this name. On the tenkeyless the Fn and App keys sit left of the arrows, unlike the wired Majestouch 2. The later Convertible 3X keeps the design with USB-C and Bluetooth 5.1.
Old AA batteries left inside can leak onto the contacts. Bluetooth 3.0 can be fussy with newer adapters, and Diatec warned that not every Bluetooth adapter is supported.

We'd buy the full-size board titled working at $123 delivered, the cheapest here, shown with its USB cable and sold by a US seller. There are at least 9 listed, most at $130–170 delivered, and five ship from Japan. Three are titled JP or Japanese, which usually means a JIS layout with Japanese legends and a short space bar. It runs wired over USB or on two AA batteries over Bluetooth 3.0, so ask for a photo of the open battery compartment to check for corrosion, a video typing both ways, and confirmation that the USB cable comes with it. FKBC87 on the label is the tenkeyless and FKBC104 the full-size US board, and the letters after the M give the switch (RL for Red). The switches are soldered and the caps are ABS, so ask for a typing test and look for shine on the space bar.
